Saturday 12th July 2008 Newgrange - Cost included in Accommpanying Persons Fee
** The Newgrange tour is now full-delegates registering on the 21st May onwards shall be accommodated on the Kildare tour. Please see below description.
This tour will take you on a visit to the mystical site of Newgrange, a world listed burial site that predates the Egyptian pyramids. After lunch your guide will take you past the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne before visiting Mellifont Abbey, Ireland’s first Cistercian abbey.
Saturday 12th July 2008 Kildare Tour - Cost included in Accommpanying Persons Fee
Enjoy the lush green pastures of Kildare, heartland of Irish horseracing and home of Irish silverware, before ending your day relaxing over a Guinness!

This tour passes through the "Curragh", as seen on the TV drama Rough Diamond, an area preserved for some of the most prestigious flat horse racing in the country. Visit first The Kildare Stud Farm & Japanese Gardens, take a tour of the stud farm, home to racing legends and gold winners such as Desert King and Shergar. Then Enjoy a stroll through the Japanese Gardens, acclaimed to be the finest in Europe, with exotic pathways that symbolise the "Life of Man" & enjoy a delicious homemade lunch at the National Stud tearooms.* The stud farms will be followed with a traditional Irish Pub visit where you can experience the art of pouring a perfect pint of Guinness! (And wow your friends back home with your handy new skill!) Your guided tuition is followed by a chance to taste this delicious golden after-dinner drink before heading back to the "fair city". * Tea/Coffee and lunch not included. All admissions included including a complimentary Guinness.

Sunday 13th July 2008 Dublin Bay & Castle Tour - Cost included in Accommpanying Persons Fee
Enjoy this half-day trip out of the city! Wander through the beautiful Malahide Castle and gardens and enjoy the fresh sea breeze and breathtaking views of Dublin Bay from Howth Summit.
 Monday 14th July 2008 Mid Congress Tour to Powerscourt & Gardens - Cost: €38
This Half Day tour will take you to Co Wicklow otherwise known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’. You will visit the acclaimed Avoca Handweavers complex where you will have the option to browse the wonderful crafts & Irish designed clothes on offer & take a refreshment break if you so wish. Following this you will then travel to Powerscourt House & Gardens. You will be given a tour of the wonderfully restored house & will then be free to amble through the beautiful gardens at your own pace.
Tuesday 15th July 2008 Hop on Hop Off Dublin Tour - Cost: €16
